I found the CFM Programme to be an extremely useful and holistic programme for a Finance Manager / Finance Professional. It was a very balanced programme on Applied Finance. There was emphasis on "Theory, Concepts, Techniques and Methods" on one hand and "Practical application of the same to actual business problem solving and business decision making" on the other hand . Since there were four different Examinations covering Valuation Concepts & Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management & Project Appraisal, Treasury & Forex Management and Corporate Valuation & Value Creation, the coverage of the syllabus was also holistic.
